I struggled with whether to share this one or not.
One thing I do NOT want to do is scare you away from these daily posts, but I also committed to tell the truth about what is happening to children here in the U.S. and all around the world.
One of the biggest culprits in the Sex Trafficking industry is Pornography. Millions of men and women are addicted to it. It brings in billions of dollars every year, and is growing. The porn industry is complicit in the abuse, rape and trafficking of untold numbers of minors yet the websites continue selling their evil over and over again.
The problem is bigger than I can wrap my mind around.
Today’s article is one of the most difficult for me to read all the way through. To be honest, it made my stomach turn. But we need to know the truth so we can fight the lies. Guys, this problem is enormous.
I don’t know how to stop the porn industry, but I do know how to help prevent kids from becoming victims. Last night a handful of us brought food to a local community center and handed out sandwiches and smiles to dozens of boys and girls. Sweaty, thirsty basketball players happily grabbed bottled waters and mandarin oranges as they came off the court. We invited them to Bible study next week, where they will be taught the truth of who God created them to be. Full bellies are a powerful force, my friend. You feed hungry kids and their parents will follow. Teach them that they are loved and worth fighting for and they just might fight back when evil comes knocking at their door.
We have to start somewhere.
